Commission Policies

If you’d like to request a commission, fill out the form on the contact page or email me at itscathywu@gmail.com with the details of what you have in mind and your time frame! I will respond to discuss my availability and provide a quote for your request, but my general policy regarding commissions are the following:

• My hourly rate is $100, with a $100 minimum for any project.

• Depending on the project, it can also be based on an agreed upon flat rate with a limited number of revisions. For extra revisions, the hourly rate will apply in addition to the flat fee.

• If a flat rate is agreed upon, there will be 3 opportunities for feedback throughout the process – once for the initial sketch phase, once for the first color pass, and once more for final approval. For additional revisions, the hourly rate will apply.

• If an hourly fee is agreed upon, a quote will be provided after expectations are discussed and outlined for revision cycles.

• Each commission includes a digital file of the artwork (PNG). An additional fee will apply if prints are requested, which will include printing materials and shipping costs.

• Without client permission, I will not sell prints of any custom work. I do, however, request that I can use the image of their custom work for self-promotion on my social media accounts and portfolio website.
